If the Ready light is ON, the system is ready for Arming. The system cannot be armed unless the ready light is ON.   TO TURN ON Press this button only if STAYING at home, ex: Sleeping, watching TV, etc.  Motion detectors will not be armed.  (Depending on your keypad, the "bypass" indicator might be on.  This indicates that the motion detectors have been bypassed.) Press this button only if going AWAY from home (nobody stays home) ex: going to work, school, etc.  All detection devices, including motion detectors will be ARMED.  (If you are equipped with our pet friendly motion detectors, your small pets, and birds will NOT generate a false alarm.)   TO TURN OFF To disarm the system you must press your FOUR DIGIT CODE only.   OTHER FUNCTIONS This button is used to provide a tone from the keypad each time a door or a window (with a sensor) is opened or closed.

To ensure that your system continues to function as intended, you must test your system weekly.  Please refer to "Testing Your System" on page 13 of your manual.  If your system is not working properly, please contact us for service. 1 (877) 477-4006.
Your system is capable of transmitting alarms, video (if equipped), troubles, and emergency information over the telephone lines to your monitoring station.  If you inadvertently initiated an alarm, immediately call the monitoring station at: 1 (800) 369-0996
